Nutty Granola


  • ½ cup Heartland Nuts Black Walnuts
  • ½ cup Heartland Nuts Northern Pecans
  • 4 cups old-fashioned oatmeal
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup dried blueberries
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • 4 Tblsp. Heartland Nuts Black Walnut or Cinnamon Pecan honey
  • 4 Tblsp. unrefined coconut oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. sea salt


  1. The nuts and berries can be left whole or chopped, your choice.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Mix together with your hands, if the coconut oil is in solid form the warmth of your hands will melt it into the mixture.
    Mix well making sure there are no chunks of oil left.
  4. Spread the mixture in a thin layer on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes in a 325 degree oven until very lightly toasted.
  6. Cool completely before storing. For optimum freshness place the granola in mason jars and store in the refrigerator
